the Townships very own, unique Olympics. It is a two week long
spectacular display of intense competition in and around the Township.
Become a competitor or just come out and support your neighbors
throughout this fun filled special event. It's fun for the whole
family. Detailed information will be printed in the December issue
of the Citizen.

May Fitness Month -

The month of
May has been declared National Physical Fitness & Sports
Month by the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
The 'Township Fitness Challenge' coincides with the Presidential
Sports Award. "The challenge of the award is to make a
commitment to fitness activities. Earning this award means that
you have put in time and effort to meet the challenge of personal
fitness. The award recognizes this achievement and the fact
that you are part of an effort towards a healthier you. Encourage
your family and friends to participate in 'Township Fitness
Challenge' (Presidential Sports Award, flyer, 1998)." It
is easy, you only compete against yourself. Learn more about
the challenge in April issue of The Citizen.
- Strides -

Strides is a walking
club that is on going throughout the year. It is simple. Keep
a record of the miles you walk, turn them into the Athletic Club,
and climb the reward ladder. The more you walk, the greater the
reward. STRIDE for a t-shirt, water bottle, or some other great
reward. If you dare, STRIDE to be part of the 500-mile club or
1000-mile club.
- Racquetball Tournament -

Come out and join
the Racquetball gang in a fun competitive round robin tournament.
Tournaments are scheduled in December, January, March and April.
